Thread: DHS cut corners to start building Trump's border wall

The more time that elapses, the more convinced I am that Trump's campaign vision of a border wall will never be built. That's unfortunate because I believe the border wall promise did a lot to excite the base. Not getting it built and the continuous delays is probably dampening base enthusiasm.

Time for Judy's Plan B:

Tell all these countries, if your citizens do not stop entering our country illegally, then your country will have no aid from or trade with the United States. Period.

Your plan to sanction all countries that illegal aliens come from is ill-conceived and unreasonable. For example, if I were to leave the United States on my own and commit a crime in Mexico, I own sole responsibility for that crime and any actions leading up to it, not my family, not the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, not Mickey Mouse, and certainly not the country of my origin. Blaming an entire country on the individual actions of its citizenry is not only irresponsible, it could be downright dangerous to the well-being of Americans who travel outside our country for business, vacation, education, family visits, etc.

Stay home and spend your money in the United States. You don't seem very interested in solving our illegal immigration problem. SAD!!

I talked to a friend who had recently been to a family wedding reception. She said she was seated at a table for 8, and before the election the talk would have been Trump, Trump, Trump. She noticed that had changed and the subject was avoided until 1 person hesitantly brought it up. She noticed that of the 8 who were pro Trump before, 6 dropped their heads and stared down at their plates, and the subject was quickly changed.
