DHS Launches “Family Reunification,” Refugee Program for Central Americans

DHS Launches “Family Reunification,” Refugee Program for Central Americans

    APRIL 01, 2015
To facilitate the often treacherous process of entering the United States illegally through the southern border, the Obama administration is offering free transportation from three Central American countries and a special refugee/parole program with “resettlement assistance” and permanent residency.
Under the new initiative the administration has rebranded the official name it originally assigned to the droves of illegal immigrant minors who continue sneaking into the U.S. They’re no longer known as Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC), a term that evidently was offensive and not politically correct enough for the powerful open borders movement. The new arrivals will be officially known as Central American Minors (CAM) and they will be eligible for a special refugee/parole that offers a free one-way flight to the U.S. from El Salvador, Guatemala or Honduras. The project is a joint venture between the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the State Department.
Specifically, the “program provides certain children in El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras with a safe, legal, and orderly alternative to the dangerous journey that some children are undertaking to the United States,” according to a DHS memo obtained by JW this week. The document goes on to say that the CAM program has started accepting applications from “qualifying parents” to bring their offspring under the age of 21 from El Salvador, Guatemala or Honduras. The candidates will then be granted a special refugee parole, which includes many taxpayer-funded perks and benefits. Among them is a free education, food stamps, medical care and living expenses.
During a special teleconference this week officials from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the State Department explained how CAM will work. Only “friendly” groups and individuals invited by the government were allowed to participate and the event was not open to the media. Judicial Watch attended as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with interest in the matter. Obama administration officials offered an overview of the new CAM initiative and confirmed that the U.S. has deployed staff to the region to handle the influx of applicants. A State Department official promoted CAM as a “family reunification” program that will be completely funded by American taxpayers, though the official claimed to have no idea what the cost will be.
A U.S.-based parent will initiate the application to bring his or her child in from any of the three Central American countries. To qualify they must be a permanent resident, a parolee or a beneficiary of Obama’s recent amnesty or deferred action. Many have probably lived illegally in the U.S. for years. The only out-of-pocket cost is for a DNA test to assure the child belongs to the applicant but Uncle Sam will reimburse the money if the result is positive. A U.S. official will interview the child, then a medical exam and “cultural orientation” will be conducted before the minor flies to the U.S. Once in the U.S. the illegal alien will get “resettlement assistance,” the State Department official confirmed during the teleconference.
If the applicant doesn’t qualify for the more desirable refugee status he or she can be considered for parole, a USCIS official explained in the teleconference, which was attended mostly by immigrant rights groups known for advocating on behalf of illegal aliens. Refugee status is a form of protection offered to those who are deemed of special humanitarian concern to the United States. Parole allows individuals who may be otherwise inadmissible to come to the U.S. on a case-by-case basis for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit. The State Department official assured that applicants need not express or document a credible fear to qualify under CAM because “we want to make sure this program is open to as many people as possible.”

Americans, those especially who vote for democrats or republicans! Why are your representatives allowing taxpayers to shoulder this expensive burden to bring in more job competitors soon? Why are you allowing this democrats and republicans who voted for those parties? I did not vote for this. How much of this are you going to allow? Maybe that is a question that can be answered.

Cannot you see that by Jan.2017 will be way too late to stop it, because it will have happened by then?

So non-Caucasians are not entering the country in numbers large enough to satisfy Obama and his anti-white racists pals like Al Sharpton. Now Obama and his racists are actively seeking to import them. Notice that there is no such program for Europeans who live under governments that are tyrannical or threatened to be subjugated by despots, e.g. the Ukraine, Bellerose, Dutch from South Africa and Russia itself. No, only non Caucasians from Latin America are to be given a special protected “refugee” status and imported with taxpayer’s money.

This is happening because we are allowing it to happen. This is happening because European Americans are afraid to stand up and fight. Like all cowards they and their kind will become extinct as a people.

Every honest American should ask themselves: is this what we want? Black, brown, yellow or white do honest people of conscience want the European builders of America to be displaced and driven out of the country they created, is it fair?

Taxpayer money to be used to bring in relatives of illegals

    April 2, 2015
    By Thomas Lifson

Mind-boggling corruption is afoot in the crash program to import as many impoverished people from south of the border as possible. First, President Obama illegally granted “parole” for illegals here, on the legal grounds of prioritizing enforcement of the law. Now, in a scheme uncovered by Judicial Watch, your tax dollars are about to be expended (without benefit of congressional authorization):

… the Obama administration is offering free transportation from three Central American countries and a special refugee/parole program with “resettlement assistance” and permanent residency.

The project is a joint venture between the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the State Department
    .

This whole scheme was supposed to remain outside the public’s view:

During a special teleconference this week officials from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the State Department explained how CAM will work. Only “friendly” groups and individuals invited by the government were allowed to participate and the event was not open to the media.

But JW managed to gain entry:

Judicial Watch attended as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with interest in the matter.

There is no legislative or popular mandate for this program. It is an outrage. Part of the “fundamental transformation” President Obama promised. And anyone pointing that out will be labeled an anti-Hispanic bigot.

Importing illegals gives 'Bama a chance to stick it to Americans almost every day of the week.

No matter that workforce participation is down, no matter that wages are stagnant, and no matter that only approximately half of our STEM graduates can get jobs in STEM fields.

All Americans will be hurt; the poorest Americans, many of whom are black, will be devastated. They thought that 'Bama would be their savior, but in truth he's throwing them under the bus, to get the votes of his precious Undocumented Democrats.

State Dept. program will fly in Central American immigrant children to U.S.

By Kellan Howell - The Washington Times - Saturday, April 4, 2015

A new State Department and Department of Homeland Security Program will fly immigrant children from Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador to their parents in the U.S. for free.

Parents can apply to have their children picked up and flown over the border to them on the taxpayer’s dime, as long as they have some kind of legal immigration status, The Daily Caller reported Wednesday.

The program was created in response to a surge of unaccompanied Central American children making the perilous trek to illegally cross the U.S. border that began last summer.

Any permanent resident, parolee or illegal immigrant granted or in the process of being granted a work permit under President Barack Obama’s executive order or his deferred action policy, who have children under age 21 living in Honduras, Guatemala or El Salvador can apply for the program, The Daily Caller reported.

If the application is approved, the child will be granted special refugee status and flown to the U.S. to receive “resettlement assistance” and will be eligible for taxpayer benefits. If the child has children of their own under 21 they can come into the U.S. too, along with parents of the child who is married to the applicant.

The State Department defended the program in a November memo, saying that reuniting children with families this was is “a safe, legal, and orderly alternative to the dangerous journey that some children are currently undertaking to the United States,” Fox News reported Saturday.

It is unclear how much the plane tickets would cost, or what benefits would be provided upon the refugee’s arrival in the U.S.

According to Tom Fitton, president of the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch, the refugee status granted to the children would allow them to receive more benefits that other illegal immigrants don’t have access to, including free education, food stamps, medical care, and living expenses, Fox reported.

Democratic strategist Chuck Rocha said that the program might be good for taxpayers.

“I think it’s good for the tax base,” Mr. Rocha told Fox. “Every year, 13 billion dollars are put into the Social Security Trust Fund from undocumented immigrants. So if you have immigrants here who are working, who are doing the jobs that need to be done, that’s money going into our tax system. People will say that it’s free health care, that it’s free education. Nothing in this town is free.”

But Mr. Fitton said the program sets a dangerous precedent for future immigrants, and sets up a system that doesn’t give them an incentive to seek legal immigration status.

“My gosh, what does the rule of law mean if you break the law to get here, and then you get the government to help bring in the rest of your family?” Mr. Fitton asked, Fox reported.

Is it too radical to suggest that we save ourselves the hassle of importing illegals and just put our own people to work?
