IRS Sends Checks to Illegal Immigrants

IRS Sends Checks to Illegal Immigrants
    November 11, 2010
    By Mark Krikorian

Illegal immigrants are sent more than $1.5 billion by the IRS each year just from the Child Tax Credit and the Additional Child Tax Credit, according to a review by my colleague Peter Schulkin of two reports from the Treasury Department’s Inspector General for Tax Administration. And this is just the money sent to filers who put on their tax returns the IRS’s illegal-alien identifier, the Individual Tax Identification Number or ITIN; an unknowable sum was sent to others who filed with legitimate Social Security numbers that they were issued when they came on work visas or student visas, but who later became illegal aliens when they refused to leave at the end of their authorized period of stay. Remember that next time someone tells you what a good deal illegal immigration is for taxpayers

Not to mention the EITC (earned income tax credit) for low income tax filers.

Don't forget the illegals who cheat and buy extra social security numbers so that they can claim more children than they have. It is a scam that is going on here.

Not to mention illegal Mothers saying they are single parents when hubby is actually living there and working off the books. The scams go on and on. IRS sending them checks is far from shocking. If there's a way to cheat or twist the law they know it.
