Did a Border Patrol agent shoot a man for throwing rocks?

Did a Border Patrol agent shoot a man for throwing rocks?

    Last Update: 1:30 pm

The FBI is investigating an incident in which a Border Patrol agent shot at one of several people standing on a border fence near San Luis, Ariz., and throwing rocks at him.

FBI spokesman Manuel Johnson says he couldn't confirm whether anyone was struck.

Border Patrol spokesman Ben Vik says the agent was patrolling between parallel fences Tuesday when two men dropped a ladder they were carrying and climbed back over the south fence into Mexico.

Vik says the agent, attacked while retrieving the ladder but uninjured, fired his M-4 rifle once.

According to Yuma's The Sun, a Mexican newspaper said doctors removed a .40-caliber bullet from a 23-year-old man who had been shot once in the back.

    The agent's rifle fires a .223-caliber bullet.

Dear Mexico: We don't really need any more contributions of rocks on our side of the border, as we have plenty. We also don't need more bodies jumping the fence, threatening the lives of our law officials, as we already have enough of those. We don't need your exports of drugs as so many fine upstanding citizens of your country are mowing down our national parks to grow pot, and running fine home-based businesses cooking meth in so many of our communities. And we really don't need Spanish instruction when we call the bank (por Espanol...).
Personally, I don't understand your generosity toward this country, while the majority of your population makes its living from various dumps, drinking sewer water, being threatened and killed by drug cartels. I am sorry but these are not problems we can share with you, and while some do commisserate, it is your problem and yours alone, so figure it out!

Hmmmm let me see, How did David strike down Golieth? I believe the Giant was taken down by a thrown rock. The Border agent was defending himself against deadly force as is his right. If Mexico does not like exchanging bullets for rocks, maybe they should stop throwing rocks.
