Do you think if the entire LEGAL population of the US (aprox. 150,000,000 people )protested for a week. I mean, protested;

didn't go to work,
didn't buy gas,
withdrew all their money from the banks,
didn't buy a damn thing,
etc.

Do you think then some of the Swift executives, et. al. would get popped, the illegals would get arrested and deported, the wall would get built and internal enforcement would begin in earnest?

What would it take to get what we want?

I guess we have to jump up and down on furniture or go on American Idol.

Everyone up there in Congress knows we are right. Even George Bush. They would not dare debate some of us in the anti-illegal immigration movement. All they can do is come on TV and say guestworker or compreshensive. They have no logical reason for Open Borders. NONE!

We should start a list of their redicuous excuses.

YES!!! I really think even if people wouldn't shop for one week...except for their bare NEEDS ...and they were true to it...it would definately work! STOPPING THE FLOW OF MONEY....this is what THEY LIVE FOR...so, you take away what causes their "frenzy" and greed for money! The exact thing they are betraying American FOR.
They should be ashamed of themselves...they aren't going to live forever and they can't take it with them...and even if they don't think so...THEY HAVE A MAKER!

Even smaller measures could make a big difference.

When I am looking for something, my hierarchy of shopping:
1. Thrift store
2. Outlet
3. Local
In that order

We can also become devout label-readers. I was surprised to learn that some of the stuff at the local dollar store was made in the USA.

Even a small variation in our buying habits, say, 2% - WILL be picked up by their CRM and analytical systems, and they will scream.

Funny. My friend and I were just talking about this subject, wondering if all American workers went on strike, would it have the desired effect? What would it take to get a movement together?

Walmart's sales are down. I boycott them for their hiring practices, the media said it is due to anti-Walmart commercials. What do you think?

I don't and won't EVER shop at Wal Mart again...unless they STOP (IMO) HIRING ILLEGAL ALIENS.

Which, IMO...makes them an ANTI-AMERICAN COMPANY! You can't sit on the fence. If you are loyal to this country and Americans...then you wouldn't hire illegals to work in your company. They will NEVER get another dime from me!
