* President Bush issued an eleventh hour commutation for
former Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean. But some
lawmakers say that is not enough. Tonight we will have the
latest details on the case. Plus we will be joined by the wives
of Ramos and Compean and the people who are leading the charge
for a full pardon.

* Plus, homeowners are being hit from both sides. The
value of their home is falling but at the same time their
property taxes are soaring. Some homeowners are trying to
fight these rising taxes but states claim the increase is
necessary to help balance their budgets. We will have a full
report tonight.

Joining Lou on Wednesday will be attorneys DAVID BOTSFORD and
ROBERT BASKETT, who represent soon-to-be free Border Patrol
agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. The attorneys will
discuss how their clients’ unjust prison sentences were
commuted by outgoing President George W. Bush—and how the two
men feel about coming home.

JOHN MCINTYRE of Chicago-based RealClearPolitics.com will recap
yesterday’s historic inauguration of President Obama, and he’ll
also look ahead to Obama’s first 100 days in office.

And for a look into President Obama’s future, Lou will talk
with—who else?—a real, live psychic. The noted ELIZABETH BARON
will offer her thoughts on what lies ahead.

As always, Lou will take your calls to discuss the issues that
matter most to you—and to get your thoughts on the direction
America is heading. Call him toll-free on the Independent
