    Dominican deportee returns to US, shoots subway cops in NYC

    A Dominican native deported from the US in 2001-and now suspected of returning illegally-shot 2 plainclothes officers in NY as he was being arrested for beating a subway fare.

    This confirms my view that it's generally the dregs of foreign societies who are coming to our country illegally.

    They know when they come here that they are breaking the law; thus hiding in the shadows as our politicians say. So obviously, we are attracting only the criminal elements to this country.

    The honest, law abiding immigrant will come here via legal channels.
