Billionaire businessman Donald Trump said Monday that the poll numbers of people like former Texas Gov. Rick Perry and Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, in the wake of their attacks on Mr. Trump, constitute one of the greatest honors Mr. Trump has had in his life.

Mr. Trump said he likes Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas and really respects the fact that he hasn’t attacked him — unlike others who are challenging the real estate mogul for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.

“You know the amazing thing? Everybody that’s attacked me — you look at [Rick] Perry, you look at this guy Lindsey Graham, I mean, vicious attacks,” Mr. Trump said on “Fox and Friends.” “They all went down to zero, and now they’re getting out of the race.”

“It’s one of the greatest honors I’ve ever had, I think, in my life. Everybody who attacks me goes down to zero,” he said. “Perry’s gone. Lindsey Graham is gone. They’re all gone.”

“And [Jeb] Bush, by the way, attacked me in a very modest way — you know he’s a low-energy person,” Mr. Trump said. “So when he attacks he attacks with low energy. But he’s going down, and it’s really sort of an interesting thing to watch.”

LOL!! He's hilarious. And so right on so many things. Donald Trump is right now the only politician I would want to invite to dinner.

Speaking of dinners, can you imagine how fabulous State Dinners would be in the White House? They would be fabulous.

I miss the dinners. We pay for this beautiful White House for that purpose, yet no one really does it right any more. Trump would do it right. He'd have dinners all over the place and would invite lots of people, the grounds would be full of people enjoying our hospitality.

Yes he does! Did you see the post about him up bright and early today reacting to the stock market? By 9:30 am he's already in his suit at his office watching the stock market, tweeting on what's happening and making a video to tell us what the thinks about the situation.

He'd probably be doing the same thing informing US in the same way perhaps even in more ways when he's President. Wouldn't that be great to wake up every morning and hear immediately from the President of the United States about this day's important events? A Trump Administration would probably be the most open Presidency for the American People that we've ever had for a very long time, perhaps ever.

That could be a very good thing for our country and citizens.

He'd probably tell us how many illegal aliens have been deported, and if he would support the FairTax, how many free trade treason agreements he'd outsmarted, how many new industries were announcing returning to the US, how many new jobs were created, how many welfare to work people had been removed from welfare, and of course he could have a monthly FairTax collections report that would include how much money we've taken in versus how much we've spent and how much went to Social Security and Medicare.

Donald J Trump, investigate the FairTax, please. HR 25 in the US House of Representatives and S 155 in the US Senate.

Hmm, did it ever occur to you that he may have been in his office early watching the stock market because of his investment portfolio?

No, because you don't have to be in your office in a suit watching the stock market reports. He can do that at home in his pajamas like everyone else. He employs thousands of people who have retirement plans through his company, so I'm certain how those plans are faring are of great importance to him because they're of great importance to his employees, plus his own sizable investments.

Here's an article about Trump's stock market investments in case you missed it:

    Donald Trump's best stock picks
    By Matt Egan @mattmegan5

Donald Trump may be losing business deals left and right, but his stock picking is pretty good.

Trump gave the public a glimpse into his investment portfolio on Wednesday, a preliminary disclosure required of presidential candidates in which he also claimed he's worth $10 billion.

Trump's investments aren't all that bold. They are more or less a Who's Who list of America's biggest companies, many of which are listed on the Dow.

Still, many investors would envy his track record. Out of 45 stocks he said he sold through January 2014, Trump lost money on just five stocks. Here are his five biggest stock wins, as measured by percentage gains:

    1.) Facebook (199% gain, $3.9 million profit)

2.) Bank of America (135% gain, $6.7 million profit)

3.) Best Buy (113% gain, $2.2 million profit)

    4.) Boeing (80% gain, $4 million profit)

    5.) Morgan Stanley (75% gain, $750,000 profit)

It's not clear when he purchased the shares, and he didn't say what stocks he currently owns. All told, Trump said his equity investments generated a gain of $27 million.

Here's what else we know about Donald Trump, the stock picker.

Trump basically owns the Dow: While The Donald comes off as brash in his campaign speeches, his stock picks are relatively tame. Of the shares listed, 16 were part of the Dow 30, including Intel (INTC, Tech30), General Electric (GE) and McDonald's (MCD).

That speaks to Trump's preference for large, multinational companies. Large-cap stocks have performed well during the bull market, though ones with heavy international exposure have been hurt more recently by the strong dollar.

Trump REALLY loves America: Only three of Trump's stock picks were based outside of the U.S.: Enbridge (ENB) (Canada), Noble (NBL) (U.K.) and Volkswagen (VLKAF) (Germany).

That was probably a smart move considering American stocks outperformed their global peers during much of the bull market. However, that patriotic investing strategy has been less lucrative this year. During the first half of 2015, the U.S. ranked 47th among 74 countries in terms of equity performance. While the S&P 500 was virtually flat, stocks in China, Japan and even Argentina soared.

He's not perfect: Trump might not admit it, but even he can make poor decisions. He lost money on investments in Pepsi (PEP), Occidental Petroleum (OXY), Coca-Cola (KO) and Enbridge (ENB).

Trump also likely regrets his investment in D.R. Horton (DHI), the home builder he sold shares in at a loss of about 20%. Don't feel too bad for Trump though. He lost only $205,000 on it.
Pretty nice story as it turns out.

What does this tell US? Well, quite a lot actually. He's prudent investing in the Dow top companies, he's patriotic even if it costs him money choosing to invest in American companies, and he understands the risks of China avoiding their stocks even when a lot of money could have been made from investing in Chinese stocks.

You know, it may be an important attribute to have someone in the White House for a change who actually understands our economy, money supply, manufacturers, banks and stock market. It could prove far more valuable to the American People than someone with community organizing experience or political office backgrounds.
