I noticed the Latinos around here seem to be getting more comfortable. They overwhelmed our border ten years ago and their offspring---and most of themselves--are settled in and won't go unless practically grabbed by the collar. The only thing that would scatter them from here would be a huge economic downturn and Trump's economic strategy seems to be working, so these folks are absorbed into the Informal Economy. if not regular jobs.
The Trump Administration is steadily trying to plug the leaks in the system, but with an actual illegal population closer to 20-25 million they have a formidable uphill battle."Men of low degree are vanity, Men of high degree are a lie. " David

Even a downturn in the economy might not faze them, as they would still get most of the available jobs in the trades due to their unscrupulous business practices, like giving 1099 forms to their employees , who in turn never pay taxes . They would still get free health care in the ER, free births courtesy of the taxpayers, and benefits galore via their U.S. born children. They will never leave, unless forced.

Not to mention that if they do lose their job, they'll just stand out in front of Menard's waiting for criminal contractors to pick them up to give them work. Illegals are very crafty people. Kind of the way viruses mutate in order to survive in their current environment.
