    Obama White House Victory Garden should be copied in Mexico

    One of the most positive things that could happen on the microeconomic level but which would have a wider macroeconomic impact is if remittance beneficiaries who buy manufactured food in supermarkets planted Victory Gardens and Mexico's modern food factories exported what they are buying instead.

    Victory gardens good for ALL people.

    Our Gov't is trying to push through a bill that would prevent us from having Victory gardens and/or local farmers from growing food. So, if our corrupt Gov't pushes this through, Mexico would be wise not to emulate us.

    That has more to do with small scale commercial operation not self sufficiency.
