    The DMV announced earlier this month it would issue driver's licenses to people who receive a work permit under the new program. In a statement to the North County Times Wednesday, the DMV backtracked, saying it was not clear what documents the federal government would give people and whether those documents met state regulations to issue the licenses.

    Them "Dreamers" will be in for a "Nightmare" when they get called up for a draft if President Obama go to war with Iran.

    Let me set the rules. No public benefits of any sort which includes use and connection to any public utility. Want water? Dig a well. Want electricity? Buy a solar unit. Want Gas? Eat lots of beans. I'd even deny library cards!

    I agree with everything you said but the digging of a well. That water belongs to us and is a benefit only citizens and legal immigrants should have access to! LOL

    Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Washington do not require drivers to provide citizenship or legal documentation to obtain a drivers license.
