Drug investigation leads to five arrests

WENATCHEE — Drug investigators seized about three pounds of crystal methamphetamine and arrested five people Tuesday.

The drugs have a street value of about $16,000 a pound, said Jeff Middleton, chief criminal deputy for the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office.

Search warrants were executed Tuesday at homes on Searles Road in Malaga, on Broad Street in Wenatchee, and on North Ashland Street in East Wenatchee, according to a news release from the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office.
