By Jim Edwards, Fox 11 News
A man wanted in Maricopa County on charges of kidnapping and sexual assault was arrested at the Lukeville Port of Entry on Tuesday, June 17.
Mexican immigration authorities brought 53-year old Steven Buckeye to the border, telling Customs and Border Protection agents that they were deporting him back to the United States because he had been causing problems in Mexico. When agents screened him for warrants, it was discovered that Buckeye had two felony warrants for his arrest. He was then turned over to the custody of the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
