Economic chaos looms if things don't change

What's happened to America over the past 20 years? Have Americans always had their hand out demanding cradle-to-grave government services? How have citizens come to expect something for nothing? This disastrous mind-set largely is attributable to pandering politicians' promises in exchange for "the almighty vote."

Politicians have always wooed voters, mostly responsibly in years past, speaking to base-line issues affecting our nation's security, economy and future. Currently though, many cast votes solely based upon which shameful, blowhard politician promises more "free stuff." Half-bright voters believe these politicians' spastic mutterings, and no wonder. Many were educated in our disastrous public K-12 schools that not only fail to teach students American and world history, economics, capitalism and self-reliance, but also a fundamental irrefutable truth, nothing worthwhile is free. Shortsighted, selfish, ignorant, "entitled" voters are rapidly becoming the majority.

Beyond dim-witted voters, 30 million-plus poor, Third World, illegal (criminal) aliens reside in the U.S., having birthed another 50 million-plus "anchor babies," further insatiable expenditures. And insiders -- lobbyists, lawyers, Wall Streeters, war-profiteers -- jockey for tax breaks, wasteful earmarks and no-bid contracts.

The Treasury's printing presses spin out never-ending new dollars to fulfill obligations. In oversupply, the dollar loses value internationally. Oil and food prices escalate, while offshore producers demand payment in alternative, non-depreciating currencies, selling U.S. bonds.

Reduce spending, no. Fair or flat tax, no. Seal the border; deport illegal aliens, so heartless! Crystal ball? Sheer economic chaos-disaster looms.
