Am repeating myself: A virtual fence should only be used in conjunction with a physical fence. Technology could be used to jam a virtual fence as well as be affected by power outages and weather. A virtual fence could be down for days or weeks at a time. What is the cost per year to maintaine and operate the fence? A virtual fence requires physical border agent intervention--why put their lives at risk? We need a physical fence now and can't wait 6 years for it.

In the space race America spent millions of dollars developing a pen that would write in zero gravity--the Russians used a pencil. The virtual fence is America's millions of dollars zero gravity pen and a physical fence is Russia's pencil.

Have debated about posting this video--despite the music this is no laughing matter!! Decided to post it to show what the border patrol agents face daily---I commend and applaud the efforts of all our border patrol agents. I also promote that each border agent have a trained border patrol dog with him/her. Give them the tool of a physical fence!
With a fence in place the illegals would never have driven across the border to begin with.

A virtual fence which possibly uses software programmed by Bill Gates' third world low paying software programmers. It will be as unreliable as windows if they do use any type of bastardized software from microsoft.
Sure, this is exactly what we need!
