HARRISBURG – Some were holding signs, banners and American flags. Others were wearing T-shirts with slogans, buttons and even patriotic costumes. They all came to the steps of the state Capitol on Saturday with a common purpose: to make known their opposition to illegal immigration.

The words on the signs and clothing of rally attendees echoed the overall message of many of the scheduled speakers. “Secure our borders; stop illegal immigrants; illegals kill 25 Americans everyday,â€

Congratulations to Dan and Andrew and Voice of the People for their 7th successful event in just a few short months!

These guys are on the move!

Also, the police said there were about 550 people at this event!

Way to go Voice of The People!

Marianne Davies and Mr. Scavo were both great-I had the opportunity to speak with them afterwards and was really impressed with their determination. Gadiel and Kowalski from 9/11 Families FSA were also there-as usual-and Peter Gadiel made a phenomenal, emotionally riveting speech.

Me and three other people who were NY ICE members made the trip to Pennsylvania to participate in the Harrisburg rally. I'm disappointed that a few of the speakers were forced to cancel, but broadly speaking I think this event was a great success. There are going to be a series of events sponsored by Voice of the People-in supporter of Metcalf's bill-throughout this month.

See if your state is yet a member (30 so far) and get your representative involved.

It is a very sad commentary that President Bush and many in Congress, all of whom have sworn to defend our constitution, refuse to do so.

Section 4. The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.

"Invasion" and "domestic violence". Noticed any lately, Mr. President?
