Truckloads of illegal immigrants headed for USA caught in Mexico

Mexico deports illegal immigrants. In May 2011, 513 illegal migrants were discovered jammed in 2 tractor trailer trucks.

Authorities were alerted to the human cargo by a detailed x-ray image, caught at the border. It shows people sitting, standing, jammed into the trucks.

One truck carried 240 people, 273 in the other, packed so tightly -- up to seven people per square yard -- they could barely move or breathe. Temperatures topped 100 degrees.

More alarming, the migrants originated from at least eight different countries: 410 from Guatemala, others as far away as India, Nepal and China--each using a smuggling pipeline run by gangs.

Demetrios Papademetriou, with the Migration Policy Institute, said, "We're talking about something that's far more systematic than people realize. They learned how to do this by trying to moves drugs and other contraband."

Papademetriou said, "Through all sorts of activities that we really don't like, indentured servitude, prostitution."

Mexico authorities say they've intercepted almost 800 migrants entering the country illegally just this May. Border observers say that means many times that number made it through.

Mexico will arrange deportation of all those apprehended.

When one country, in this case Mexico, cannot stop their citizens, in this case cartels and gangs, from harming another country, in this case USA, then the country that is harmed has every right to declare war.

We are giving them money to execute control of their lawless population and I cannot find much evidence of it helping!

Of course, one recent President and staff promised Iraq would be a example of democracy in the middle east if we eliminated the old regime. Evidently our government and population accepted that. They are still at war with their own, as before. If we'd spent nearly a trillion dollars at war with cartels closer to home we might have made a positive difference for who? Oh, the USA and Mexico, that is who!! Consequently even more, possibly.

The consequences of doing what we did do is that we still have the necessary to do!!
