Just like every other morning,16 year-old Stephanie Jiménez was standing by the bus stop waiting for her boyfriend Mauricio to ride with her to the high school they both attend.


But on May 20th, a man approached her asking questions, asking for her ID and personal information and before she knew what was happening she was shown a police badge, being handcuffed along with Mauricio and another kid and taken to Border Patrol offices in Imperial Beach, being prepared for deportation.

Wait a minute. Did I miss something important in this story? Or did the author possibly omit facts?

Instead of letting the illegal alien teens back in to the USA, why wasn't the immigration status of the PARENTS checked? Where is THAT information in the story? If the parents aren't in compliance with US immigration law DEPORT them along with their children.
