Fargo man awaits sentencing in illegal immigrant case

FARGO, N.D. - A man who runs a rail repair service here has pleaded guilty to harboring illegal immigrants.

Court documents say Jesse Bledsoe, 51, agreed to forfeit $75,000 to the federal government under a plea agreement. A sentencing hearing is set for Oct. 6.

Bledsoe's attorney, Lorelle Moeckel, said sentencing guidelines call for a sentence of between six months to just over a year.

Authorities said a traffic stop near Lakota in November led to the arrest of 11 illegal immigrants who said they worked for Bledsoe Rail Service.
