The Tower Forum will host three top cops – John Gillies (left), FBI special agent in charge, Miami; Carmen Pino (lower right), asst. special agent in charge, U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security and Broward Sheriff AL Lamberti (right)– Feb. 2 for a discussion about how South Florida is a gateway for human trafficking.


According to the Florida Department of Children and Families, there were 411 allegations of human trafficking — which includes sexual exploitation of minors – called in to the state abuse hotline during fiscal year 2010-2011.

The breakfast begins at 7 a.m. at One Financial Plaza, 100 S.E. 3rd Avenue, 28th floor in Fort Lauderdale. The program starts at 7:45 a.m.
