    BRATTLEBORO — Two men in this country illegally were detained last week after they allegedly crashed their car into a canopy at a gas station.

    The two men crashed a moving van into the Mobil station at 1114 Putney Road on Jan. 27, according to Brattleboro Police. They were handed over to Immigration and Naturalization Services

    A records check found that the men — Jose Cervantes, 24, of Mexico, and Luis Palacio, 45, of Colombia — were in the United States illegally, police said.

    Chances are they've already been released since they didn't "really" break the law.
