I still don't believe them or trust them. We should keep hammering Agjobs all week --- just to hammer them for the heck of it --- what a bunch of anti-America jerks we have as our "U.S." Congress. Almost everything they do is bad for the United States. Our "U.S." Congress serves foreigners, foreign nations, illegal intruders, and anti-america corporates.

Feinstein has shown her true traitor colors -- along with the rest of the wrecking crew.

AG JoBs = Amnesty with no end in sight to illegal immigrants

AG Jobs has been shelved for now due to opposition by the American people of rewarding amnesty to illegal immigrants.

While the AG Jobs would do nothing to stop to flow of illegal immigrants it would have guaranteed more illegal immigrants in the future with no end in sight. With the enticement of gaining amnesty.

Keeping them on the farm would become a joke as they have already moved to higher paying jobs that Americans are losing. Unemployment for American citizens would become the nightmare as illegal immigrants undercut the wage scale. Leaving many American families struggling to make ends meet.

AG Jobs if passed would be a dream for illegal immigrants who flaunt the laws and gain amnesty. Once given; does anyone believe they will still be working on that farm?

"But Feinstein said she isn't giving up. She will ask Majority Leader Harry Reid to schedule floor time for Ag Jobs either later this year or early in 2008."

Oh goody!; maybe just in time for a Christmas! Must the scrooges of Christmas continue to push trash legislation on us during our holiday season. Let's hope they try not doing this while American citizens all try to enjoy our holidays; but I guess people like Senator Reid and Senator Feinstein have such contempt for legal immigration and for the people of the United States of America. They will even ruin the New Year!

For once in your lives listen to the American people. NO! to Amnesty! NO! to illegal immigration! Secure our borders; enforce the laws of the land and close loopholes abused by foreign nationals! Stop rewarding illegal immigrants with incentives. Amnesty has a proven track record already; it brings more illegals; higher crime; burdens the taxpayers and solves nothing.

I'd like to see a farm bill where farmers are given grants to go nearly fully mechanized. THAT I would support!!

We definitely have the technology now to harvest just about every crop by machine, and the machines would pay for themselves in a couple of years, then it's all profits for the farmers!! (And why shouldn't they like that??)

    Feinstein just won't give up

    AMNESTY IS AMNESTY!

I don't understand why Feinstein keeps trying to pass the"AG JOBS" Amnesty, if it has failed every time? If we were able to defeat the "DREAM ACT" Amnesty, then we should have no problem defeating the "AG JOBS"Amnesty when it comes up again. Does Feinstein think we are stupid

Feinstein holds off on farm worker immigration bill
By Eunice Moscoso | Tuesday, November 6, 2007, 10:08 AM

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., announced late Monday that she would not offer an immigration amendment to a farm bill currently under debate.

Feinstein’s amendment is known as AgJobs, shorthand for the Agricultural Job Opportunities, Benefits and Security Act. It would give thousands of illegal immigrant farm workers a chance to work in the United States legally and a path to citizenship.

[b]The senator told Congressional Quarterly that she made the decision after taking a “clear-eyed assessment of the politics of the farm billâ€
