I saw this article this morning in the Sacramento Bee. It isn't however, available on their web page yet so I can't post it. Hopefully someone else has seen it and can link us or copy it. This is significant to illegal immigration groups since there have been many references to illegal immigrants being relocated in lieu of being deported. Also, it does not allow us to gauge the amount of legal residents in that area that have been relocated in an attempt to possibly gentrify the area with more illegal aliens.
This article pointed out that even law enforcemet has been denied access to information on the relocations of parolees, registered sex offenders, and wanted criminals presumed in the area previously. Relatives have likewise been rebuffed when inquiring about thier loved ones, based solely on privacy concerns of those affected.
Is privacy privilidge to be the latest weapon in the arsenal of federal efforts to stymie the pro enforcement wishes of the American people?
