    Bush stubborness still shinning through!

    LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
    July 31, 2006

President Bush Renews His Commitment to 'Comprehensive' Immigration Reform

As Congress adjourns for the August Recess, President Bush will be using the month of August to focus on 'comprehensive' immigration reform. The President and administration officials will be calling for a plan that includes border security measures as well as a guest worker amnesty program for millions of illegal aliens. Administration officials have been meeting daily to develop strategies to promote the President's immigration policy. According to an article this week in National Journal's CongressDaily, these strategies include getting administration officials invited to the House immigration hearings to rebut attacks on the proposed guest worker amnesty program and organizing a team that "stages events by administration officials." Supporters of the Bush Administration's plan for "comprehensive" immigration reform, such as the National Restaurant Association, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Manhattan Institute and the Catholic Church, have also been consulted in these strategy sessions. One House GOP leadership aide called the renewed push by the White House "not helpful." The aide continued, "If they do that, they're not listening to where most Republicans are on the issue."

Is there no end to this mans disregard for the American citizens that elected him to the highest position in the land! Why would he go to such lengths to stab those of us who elected him in the back? The man has forsaken the working class, while openly favoring a very greedy corporate America. We must not, no we cannot, give up the fight - there is just too much at stake!

Please everyone, for the sake of our country and children, keep the pressure turned on high. One simple way to do that is to have your neighbors, friends, family members, and associates go to NumberUSA and fax (free) their representatives! This is one battle we can not afford to lose.

    MW,

bush doesn't care what the American people want, nor does he wish to protect our nation. He's a globalist, pure and simple. That's his agenda.

Simple, he wants the money & the power.
Man cannot serve God and Mammon at the same time. Mammon being money.

I'm sure if the NAU went through, he would be sitting among the 10 leaders of the North American continent.

MW - I see you are from NC. Anymore when I see the foolishness coming out GW's mouth I think of NC. Why NC? Let me explain. When I was a kid, in the summer, we used to go to Morehead City/Atlantic Beach. Not too far from Morehead just outside of Havelock NC there used to be an ole country store/gas station along Hwy 70. I do not remember the name of the store however as an "attraction" the owner of the store built a self-kicking machine. Turn a handle and a wheel with boots attached to it would go around. All you had to do was align yourself to the machine, turn the handle and you could kick yourself. I sure could use that kicking machine now as I voted not once but twice for this man.

This POS can't even secure the borders how is he going to run a guest worker program ?

I'm sorry if you notice a decline in my language, which in all honesty has never been bad in my life. But I've had it and I'm not going to "act polite anymore" when I'm referring to this lying, traitorous so called president.

I'd be in line right behind you, I too voted twice for President Bush. We shouldn't fault ourselves too much for our mistake, because he waited until after the second election to really come out of the closet on the illegal immigrant issue. Of course the reasons for that are as obvious as the nose on our face - if the American public would have known then what they know now, he would have had a very difficult time getting elected the second go around! I wouldn't even have bothered to go to the polls, because I sure as he$$ wasn't going to vote on Sen. Kerry!

    to my mind

the fact that this president has done more harm to this country than any other in history, and there is not a tsunami of screams for impeachment just says how deep it runs. It is on ALL levels of our government. You don't even hear much of a peep out of the democrats. They are ALL greedy (with a few exceptions), egotistical maniacs!

I have lived through many presidents and Bush is the worst! God help me for voting for him twice. That was before I starting researching. He will NEVER close the border because it is aginst his agenda to merge Canada and Mexico. I hope and pray that the Canadians are as pissed off as we are and join forces to put pressure on the governments!

Neither party gives a rip about what happens to this country.

All they want is power, so when they see a flaming incompetent like Bush, instead of doing the right thing and trying to remove him, they want to keep him around to help their chances in the next election.

Never mind what damage this idiot is doing to the country with his ports deals, wide open borders, and fiscal irresponsibility; all they want is a campaign issue.
It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.
