First-Ever Lawsuit For Lost Wages Settled

    www.fair.us

    Hey y'all RICO WORKS!!

On January 23, 2006, the first-ever lawsuit against a company that hired illegal aliens was settled with the company agreeing to pay $1.3 million. The settlement resulted from a lawsuit filed against top executives of Zirkle Fruit Company of Selah, Washington, using the RICO organized crime statutes. Court documents show that as late as 2004, more than 12,000 of Zirkle's employees-70 percent of its workforce-gave phony Social Security numbers on their employment applications. As Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-CO) states, "Employers lobby Congress to keep our borders open and the cheap labor flowing. Cheap labor is only cheap to the employers: as this lawsuit shows, working Americans suffer real wage losses due to illegal, unfair competition." The settlement for Zirkle amounts to approximately $2 per hour in lost wages per legal employee. Incredibly, Zirkle remains unwilling to use DHS' Basic Pilot Program which would verify the legal status of their employees.

    rico laws

Think this is going to be the intelligent approach to dismantle the illegal immigration crisis. I think so. If people around the country use this method it will surely discourage corrupt employers from breaking US laws.

Chicago - Four former employees of Tyson Foods Inc. have filed suit accusing the world's largest poultry processor of depressing their wages by hiring illegal immigrants on the cheap, their lawyer said.
Does anybody know whatever happened with this 2002 lawsuit or is it still on-going?
