All this bickering about this, that, and something else is intentional. It is a distraction from solving the problem, and that is exactly what they want to do, distract from solving.

It has to be intentional. When the solution to a problem is so simple a 5th grader could see, and these people work so dang hard at avoiding that solution, it has to be intentional.
