ALIPAC: Is Janet Napolitano to blame for Flight 253 securit
The Christian Science Monitor
Is Janet Napolitano to blame for Flight 253 security failure?
Republicans have focused blame for the security failures of Northwest Flight 253 on Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano. But there are other reasons that many conservatives are dissatisfied with her.

She has, in one important respect, brought the criticism upon herself. On the Sunday talk shows days after the incident, she said that "the system worked" – an assertion that President Obama himself contradicted two days later in calling the incident a "systematic failure."

Julian Zelizer needs to understand that part of the "problem with the system" is that nobody was ever fired or reprimanded after 9/11 and we made the big mistake of rewarding those that failed to protect us with more money and power thus giving them an incentive to fail.
Here we are 8 years after 9/11 with our borders undefended, our immigration laws unenforced, and knowledge that DHS has been handing out visas and allowing visas to remain active for people on the terrorism watch lists under Bush and now Obama!
Time to change our way of dealing with the "system" and time to start investigating, dismissing, and prosecuting those in the system responsible for the failure to apply our existing security and immigration laws.
No more rewards for those that have abused or neglected their power. Time for negative reinforcement and complete system overhaul. These people have have 8 collective years to do this and have failed.

Knowing that this person is head of Homeland Security is so unsettling. She does not even speak with confidence, and too frequently she is back tracking her comments, or she appears to lack the knowledge of what is really going on in the world of securing the United States. She does not inspire the "follow me" or "trust me" assurance necessary to have the American people go along with you.
It makes you wonder what it may take for this whole group to grow up and realize that we live in a bad world, with many people wanting to kill us. We can't make nice with terrorists. We have to stop handing them open doors, open borders, and the knowledge to have their way with us. In my opinion, we also must stop listening to the groups that clamor against profiling, etc., and shout about special rights or protections.
If she would spend more time protecting our borders, and our nation in general, instead of passing amnesty, we would be much better for it.
Luke 2:11Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

"Janet Napolitano has been busy trying to pass amnesty for illegal aliens and casting suspicion on American citizens who are fed up with government corruption and failures, instead of doing the job of protecting Americans against terrorist threats," said William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration Political Action Committee (ALIPAC).

Bush may have failed on putting forth policies to keep this country safe, but the Obama administration has had an entire year to get it right. Instead of making changes to see that Americans were protected, they made apologies to the world for our interrogation techniques and weakened the system. They weakened our border security to let in more criminals, then weakened our immigration system to make sure they get to stay here without prosecution. Instead of worrying about keeping America safe, they dove head first into seeing how fast they could spend our money and pay back campaign favors. The entire Obama administration is responsible in this failure to keep Americans safe. We have a President who couldn't be bothered to address the public until 3 days after it happened, and then without even missing a golf stroke, he continued his vacation. Most Presidents worth their salt would've been on that plane and back in Washington to immediately get his people together to see what they could do to make this right. This President and his administraion full of Chicago thugs and idiots is a disgrace to this country. This President has spent most of this past year vacationing and making pretty speeches and seeing how fast he can bring this country down. As far as I'm concerned he hasn't earned one thin dime of his wages. He needs to be fired.
RIP TinybobIdaho -- May God smile upon you in his domain forevermore.

In Napolitano's world "the system works," crossing the border illegally "is not a crime," and "the border is secure." The truth is the exact opposite of what she says.

Apparently, from what I have read about her, she was a flip-flop governor, not really knowing what to do, so now Phoenix has the top prize as the kidnapping capital.
What has she done? Stopped workplace raids (inhumane, ya know), quit calling terrorism for what it is -- man-made disasters -- on and on with other appeasements. She must realize that talking to the American people is a bit different than talking to Congress. We the People expect truth in answering our questions, not a load of manure cloaking the real problems.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
