She lived here for 20 years and married a US citizen? Under that situation she could have applied for a green card, why didn't she?
Regardless of the reason, I feel strongly that no alien residing illegally inside the United States should be able to apply for a green card! It's too bad that I can't make our immigration laws and/or direct the enforcement of them."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**

She leaves today, under the threat of arrest and imprisonment, even though Congressman Gutierrez has introduced a private bill on her behalf.RIP Butterbean! We miss you and hope you are well in heaven.-- Your ALIPAC friends

Uggg! This kind of story is giving me acid-reflux…
Rebecca's crime is that she crossed a border, which no one protected, to work in a job that welcomed her labor and to live lawfully under a government that gladly accepted her taxes for almost two decades.
You can't be here living here lawfully if you are here illegally. What part don't you get? What is your highest level of education?
Let's look into the taxes you may have paid and under whose identity you took to do it. Let's talk to your identity theft victim and see how happy they are about you. Let's see what the net gain/loss on the Chicago economy that you are.

Rebecca joins Elvira Arellano and hundreds of thousands of others who have been separated from their U.S. citizen families by the broken law.
Her crime is that she fell in love and built a faithful family and raised her children in the ways of the Lord.
