Honduran Consulate office to offer passports this weekend

A mobile unit from the Honduran Consulate office in Washington will be in Chesterfield County this weekend issuing passports to enter Honduras.
It is the first visit by the Honduran Consulate. Guatemalan and Mexican mobile consulates have been in the Richmond area a few times.
Passport applicants need a Honduran photo identification, or their original birth certificate and a copy.
The cost of a five-year passport is $145; for 10 years, it's $160.
The consulate will be issuing passports at the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce offices at 10700 Midlothian Turnpike, suite 200, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.Equal rights for all, special privileges for none. Thomas Jefferson
