PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Four janitorial workers face criminal charges after getting caught during immigration raids at Rhode Island courthouses.

The U.S. Attorney's Office said Friday that Eli Veliz-Coleman, Juan Carlos Martinez-Martinez, Olga Marina Vasquez-Palma and Susand Vanessa Veliz are charged with document fraud. Veliz-Coleman and Veliz are also charged with identify theft.

All four defendants were employed by contractors who cleaned the state courthouses. They were first apprehended during a raid on July 15. None of the defendants have entered a plea yet. It was unclear if they had attorneys.
