Four Step Program for Open Borders Addicts

"Liberty Enlightening the World"

That's the official name for the statue at the entrance to New York Harbor. It's name doesn't mention "immigration," yet immigration lobby, immigration lawyers and pandering politicians repeatedly whine that it invites open immigration.

The Emma Lazarus poem ("give me your tired, your poor...") wasn't even written until 10 years after the statue arrived, yet that poem is constantly touted as the immigration policy for the US.

The "liberty" of American citizens has been stolen by these "immigration industry" sellouts.

We hear ad nauseum from the bleeding-heart, hand-wringing "immigration industry" that "America is a nation of immigrants." They want us to believe that mass immigration is traditional and proper.

Here's how easily their lies are exposed:

From 1776 to 1976 America averaged 236,000 immigrants annually. That includes the Great Wave at the turn of the 20th century, during the industrializing of America and our westward expansion that accommodated greater numbers. This period was economically based, requiring immigrants to be self-supporting and contribute economically to America.

Today's deluge of 1-million immigrants annually is 4 times that historical number, and that's only the LEGAL immigrants who often receive stipends, food stamps, free medical care, and free housing. We now know that 3 million illegal aliens also come, demanding the same public welfare assistance. No wonder our schools and hospitals are ineffective and bankrupt.

The myths and platitudes foised on us by the "immigration industry" are nothing but lies, pure and simple.

President Reagan's "one-time amnesty" to millions of illegal aliens in 1986 has proven to be a disaster. As predicted by opponents at the time, it merely encouraged more illegal aliens to come here with the expectation of "cashing in" on subsequent amnesties for illegal aliens.

Despite that, the "immigration industry," the ethnic advocates and their big-business allies are promoting ANOTHER illegal alien amnesty as well as increased numbers of legal immigrants. Believing these con-artists will discard the future of our children to overpopulation generated by mass immigration. America is full!

The Democratic Party generally applauds the illegal alien invasion for the votes they hope to gain from newly legalized illegal aliens. With a few brave exceptions like Tom Tancredo, Republicans are either afraid to defend our national sovereignty and border integrity for fear of being tagged as racists or have sold out to the "open borders" corporate interests.

Continued mass illegal immigration will further destroy the very heritage that has made America great-and prosperous, which we're told is the reason these illegal immigrants come ("seeking a better life"). Resident status, welfare payments, medical care, driver's licenses and other benefits should be reserved for American citizens and legal permanent residents. Illegal alien entitlements are limited to a one-way ticket back to their own country.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt (a Democrat, no less!) expressed the sentiment best during a "low-immigration" period: "The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities."

We need only look at everyday American society to know that we've become that "a tangle of squabbling nationalities:"

increasing racial / ethnic divisiveness generated by corrupt affirmative action programs, preferential bilingual education, bilingual ballots, enforced "multicultural" university programs, and US education industry using US school curriculum to enforced de-Americanizing our children. Worse, the "multicultural industry" automatically labels as "racist" any objections to these disastrous propaganda campaigns.

It's clear to everyone that the demands for more and more immigrants to serve personal vested interests has become an addiction that, like any other addiction, will destroy the nation. Like all addicts, "open-borders" addicts refuse to enter a "twelve-step program." They don't even offer the tired excuse that "we can stop whenever we want to," because they refuse to admit there's a problem.

So here's the choice they have: an enforced and stringent "four-step program" that, unlike the 1986 "one-time amnesty " WILL BE ENFORCED: (1) Close the borders, requiring all crossers to enter at designated stations, (2) enforce existing employer penalties for hiring illegals, including money and jail time, (3) exclude ALL public funding of assistance to illegal aliens (including K-12 education, free medical care, and government grants to "charities" helping illegal aliens), and (4) eliminate "auto-citizenship by birth" for any baby born in the US to non-citizens or non-resident aliens.

The alternative is Cold Turkey.
