NoBueno, you are right on target! This ad wasn't done by some poor rookie who thought it up one day and put it out the next. It just doesn't happen that way. No, it was very calculated and deliberate. Make no doubt about it. Would also like to know, why was the ad run in English?

Actually, we should be glad this ad was run because it confirms what many have been claiming for a very long time in regards to the reconquista movement. This is a real movement in which mexico is attempting to reclaim much of the southwest portion America. They are doing this through a mass illegal invasion. The next step is for these people to demand amnesty for their illegal invaders so they can then acquire the right to vote. Ironically, their next reconquista march is May 1st and I hope America is finally going to pay attention and identify this for what it is!

Americans who want to save their wonderful country have every right to get in a "tizzy" when our elected officials are handing this country over to an enemy who is determined to retake what they rightfully believe to be their territory.

It would be refreshing to see some of our elected officials get in a "tizzy" over this invasion and actually DO something to defend this country before it's too late.
...I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid...

On the company's Web site, commentary on the ad has so far reached 230 pages and counting. "This is the first time we've experienced this reaction at all. So I don't really even have a gauge" to compare it with, Moran said.

In the apology issued Sunday, Absolut said: "We acknowledge the reactions and debate and want to apologize for the concerns this ad caused. We are truly sorry and understand that the ad has offended several persons. This was not our intention.

First this says the comments have reached (so far) 230 pages. Then they say they understand the ad has offended "several" persons? Several, like 3 or 4 people?
