Thompson's a joke, anybody that fall's for this idiot's BS should have his head examimed.

Come on! That's a hit piece to run right before his candidacy announcement and anyone with half a brain could see that coming. They desperately want a pro-open borders person in the White House. Whatever.

I'm biased, since I hale from Fred's hometown. A Tennessee poll showed him with 84% of the vote. He is extremely popular. I don't see anything in the article that disqualifies him in my view and all I see is insinuations of some wrongdoing, as is par for the NYT.

I hope you are all right. I liked Thompson. One of our congressmen is guilty of the same thing that they are charging Thompson with. Is this not what they call special interests?

Some of Thompson's stances are OK. But I won't vote for him.

Tancredo has a clean record and shows by his dependence on the American people's contributions that he's not involved in corruption.

She's as corrupt as they get. Judicial Watch is all over her.

Thompson is a good actor, he should keep that job.

IF he is solid against illegal immigration and really for border security, I'll give him a serious look. I know he was against the hideous Bush/Kennedy amnesty bill, but that in and of itself doesn't necessarily mean he is really against illegal immigration.

The scary thing is everyone thought Bush was the
real deal, especially when you considered the choices
of Gore & Kerry. Thompson seems like Teddy Roosevelt
beside Hillary. But it really POs me that these people's
children cannot keep from using their family connections
to get a lucrative paycheck. Did you see the report of
Obama's income before & after being senator?
