Fort Worth's JPS hospital considers opening free preventive healthcare to illegal immigrants

Officials at the John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth are divided on whether or not to provide free healthcare to illegal immigrants.

Opponents of the idea are citing the enormous costs—more than $40 million in the first year and climb to more than $100 million in 10 years—while proponents cite data from 2004, which shows that enrollments and costs would be much smaller.

How DARE anybody offer free healthcare to illegals. What about all the uninsured Americans who go without healthcare? What about them???

Oooooh, why do the freeloading, thieving, lying illegals get EVERYTHING that American citizens can only dream of?????????

Sadly this is the truth! Americans for decades have been fighting to get there children and elderly insured with no avail! I'm not for a socialistic health care system but I am also not for giving benefits to illegals and there children too! They should make the health care system more competitive and drive down prices some to make it more affordable but with little government involvement as possible!

The U.S. has a responsibility to its citizens FIRST. So much attention is being paid to the illegals...getting them free healthcare, mortgages for new homes, in-state tuition, scholarships...

All this while American citizens are being left behind. There are so many homeless, jobless Americans who need jobs, healthcare, homes, educations. The fact that our government doesn't care about them and only cares about the illegals makes me sick.
