    Speeding stop leads to illegal alien bust

    BRATTLEBORO — Police said a vehicle stop led to the capture of three illegal immigrants Sunday night.

    Police said that around 6 p.m., they stopped Osiel D. Vasquez, 24, of Mamaroneck, N.Y., for driving 99 mph on Interstate 91 south. Police said they learned Vasquez and two of his passengers, Luisa Vasquez and Alba Vasquez, were in the country illegally. U.S. Border patrol took three of them into custody.

    Police also charged Osiel Vasquez with careless and negligent operation of a vehicle.
