But, he said if federal and state officials will not lead to solve a crisis, local leaders must.
He will ask the League of California Cities to support a temporary halt to immigration on America's borders.
"I will ask them to support a two year moratorium on immigration in order to give us time to address this issue thoroughly," says Autry.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

He responded to me...thanked me for expressing my concerns ( I stated flatly that Fox should not be included in any meetings having to do with the USA)....
I appreciated the response....it's more than my senators do...

My email to Mayor Autry:
I just saw in the news that you called for a mortatorium on immigration. I couldn't agree more. I'm so thrilled when I see a public official show courage and call a spade a spade. Mass immigration is having a major negative effect not only on Fresno, but all of America in general. As a citizen I'm not only concerned about the economic impact that mass immigration is having on our society, but I'm very concerned about criminals and terrorists slipping through our borders to committ harm and violence on American citizens.
We need an immigration timeout until we can sort this mess out.
The only statements I disagreed with was about supporting a guest worker program and inviting Vicente Fox over for a meeting. We need to close our borders, get serious about enforcing our laws and find jobs for the 14 million unemployed citizens before we think about bringing in any more guestworkers. Second please reconsider including Vicente Fox in any meetings concerning immigration reform because Vicente Fox is clearly on the side of Mexican illegal alien lawbreakers and he will not support any effort to enforce common sense immigration laws when illegal aliens are sending 30 billion dollars back to Mexico in remittance per year. Plus he's a leader of a corrupt, crime bloated, Mexican government who should have no say in how we enforce our laws and protect our sovereign nation.
Overall I liked what you had to say. It takes major courage to say what you said and I encourage you to keep it up. The open borders lobby will no doubt come after you with accusations of racism and bigotry. I recommend that you ignore these people because they don't have Americas best interest at heart and are only interested in the politics of personal destruction when you don't kowtow to their agenda. They are a vast minority of radicals who don't speak for the will of the people, I promise you that.
Again thanks for standing up for your people. Remember you not only stood up for Fresno residents, but you stood up for America as well. Remember we are with you and stand by your words. Please support our fight against illegal immigration by joining ALIPAC's email alerts here https://eepurl.com/cktGTn

Ditto for me. I sent an email to Mayor Autry supporting his views, his moratorium and saying Vicente Fox should not be included in an negotiations. The Mayor sent me a nice response thanking me within a half hour, and I'm not even a resident of Fresno, much less California.People who take issue with control of population do not understand that if it is not done in a graceful way, nature will do it in a brutal fashion - Henry Kendall

We don't need Mayor Autry to run again for mayor.
We need him to run for the U.S. Senate.
