Thread: GA-Businesses Vow To Protect Illegal Immigrants

Maybe we need to pressure ICE and local law enforcement to start to raid a few of these places. Aiding criminals is in itself a violation of the law. Bust enough of them and see how many will continue to practice these illegal activities.

Here is a list of the "Safe Havens" in Gerogia so far..... we as legal country persons have the right to contact law enforcement to inform them of the illegal immigrants found anywhere. The problem lies with whether or not those responsible for the enforcement will perform their duties. As a previous employee with the Georgia Capitol Police where I provide all individuals with the security badges for the Capitol properties was told by the ICE representative they would not come and arrest/transport any illegal immigrant due to manning and/or budget constraints.

Some Georgia businesses are pledging to protect illegal immigrants against a new law that gives police more room to question residents' immigration status.

They are not above the law and there are plenty of jail cells empty.
