I caught part of it, Roy Beck from Numbers was great [attrition thru enforcement], Barletta was able to justify his position and Rep.Daryl Metcaffe really DOES work in our best interest in Pennsylvania. Cal Thomas got the most information and points in.
Great questions from the audience as well. Many of the panel used the typical talking points of we need the migrants, blah, blah.

    Watch it if you can.

    A good debate. Worth seeing.

I was well into the video when the video stopped and I could not go past that point in the discussion. But, I did enjoy what I heard and saw of the debate.

Roy Beck, Louis Barletta, Cal Thomas and Daryl Metcalfe are heroes in our cause, they obviously love our country. I am very proud of them! I loved it when Matcalfe was calling illegals the "illegal invaders" and the stupid Nun kept refering to them as "undocumented" and "immigrants". She said she was so excited that the fraudent president Obama waa going to fix this problem so the poor un-documented people could become authorized. I was yelling as her via the video at that time, it's hard not to be angry when the stupidity of this nun and other illegals advocates could cost us our country.

I wish that someone would have said to the Sister it's fine and good that you want to help the illegals but are you personally willing to pay for them? And the question I would have liked asked to the dairy farmer and women that represent workers in the trades in SW Pa. are you willing to take on the expense of illegals in our country if the illegal workers are brought in and over stay their visas? If not, why should the American people be saddled with the burden? And another point about how illegals help the American people, I wish that Roy Beck would have talked about the overall cost of illegals in dollars and sense and burden on our infrastructure vs. any benefits that they supposedly give to us. Personally I clean my own house, I can plant and pick my own strawberries and I can’t afford to go to restaurants, so I don’t need them at all.

And the stupid comment about illegals coming out of the shadows was funny, the illegals have yet another march coming up in May. And they are anything but in the shawdows as they march in our streets. I can't figure out what the illegals massive protests can possibly be about since they use and abuse our system and leave the American tax payers in debt and bring us crime, disease and destruction.

I understand the point about helping other countriies get their businesses going so that illegals won't come here. However, it's pretty dificult for the American people to take on this expense when many Americans are losing their jobs and homes. First our Gov't needs to help us and then worry about the welfare of foreign countries people.

OK - I just finished watching it.

I tried to be as unbiased as I could be. I offer observations of some panel members. The nun was all compassion with very ltiitle reason and wide generalities with, IMO, misplaced compassion. Also I have this thing where I see red as soon as anyone uses the worn out expressions "in the shadows" or "out of the shadows". Can't help it, that's me. (How trite it is.)
The lady on the right said a lot of words but always, quickly circled back to she wants more H1B workers for Allegheny county. I felt insulted by her attitude about Americans. Never a thought or statement about America's youth or a plan to create motivation and desire to enter the technical fields. Nor did she mention that, last year. America had more grads in Info Tech than there were jobs--so why does Gates want more too?? Please lady-stop with the baloney.
The gent to their left as viewed by us confused me a little. He 'fessed up to some problems caused by aliens yet still wanted to give amnesty. No answers to the 7million illegals and the same number of unemployed Americans. The 3rd from our left--an elected official was very much protective of America and definitely anti- illegal immigration. He made some good points.
The man on the extreme left made good points too, but confused me a little about where he was on amnesty, even tyhough it was clear he is anti-illegal immigration. Beck, Barletta and Cal Thomas were, IMO , excellent.
Barletta gave excellent examples of the costs and dangers. Thomas gave excellent rebuttals and info on all aspects and Beck was clearly knowledgable and had his numbers and facts straight.

And yes--the two ladies and the fellow beside them, did make me angry.
