Man gets 20 years for molesting child neighbor

A 38-year-old man convicted of molesting a 12-year-old neighbor was sentenced to 20 years in prison Friday.
Authorities said Adrian Osorto-Aguilera, an illegal immigrant, knocked on the back door of an apartment on Shallowford Road in Chamblee on Dec. 21, 2005, and sexually assaulted the girl who answered the door.
The victim’s 14-year-old cousin later came to the apartment and interrupted the assault.
The cousin identified Osorto-Aguilera, who was arrested the same day. He was found guilty by a DeKalb Superior Court jury Wednesday and received the maximum sentence Friday from Superior Court Judge Robert J. Castellani.
