Mexican Consul wants 'bilateral' solution

GAINESVILLE - The Mexican Consul General for Georgia told Gainesville Rotarians Monday there needs to be a 'bi-lateral',orderly way to solve the illegal immigration problem.

Consul General Salvador De Lara said the U.S. cannot send back the estimated six million undocumented immigrants, except for criminals, but for wage earners with families, the U.S. and Mexico together could create a path to legalization.

“We can arrange for a program of temporary workers which will accommodate depending on the conditions of the U.S. economy,â€

It has created problems for the United States. So this Consul General would have America suffer to benefit Mexico, but could care less that the United States suffers due to their presence.

The demands that they make here, they should make them there.

THESE PEOPLE REALLY DO THINK THAT THEY ARE ENTITLED TO BE HERE. WELL, I'VE GOT NEWS FOR THEM, THEY AREN'T. Gainesville is on the border of Texas and Oklahoma. Is this coming about because OK was smart enough to do something? I mean I know that Sooners aren't the smartest bunch (HA!) but at least they know how to treat illegals!! OK illegals are flooding to Texas because of the new laws! Since I live near Gainesville, I will have to stop by and let Mr. De Lara know that he needs to take himself and his illegal ilk back to Mexico where they belong!! This is AMERICA, NOT Mexico!!
