    LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- A lawyer for a 13-year-old American
    boy born to illegal immigrants argued in a Gwinnett County
    courtroom Tuesday that the teen should remain in state custody and not be sent to Guatemala to live with his father.

    The boy's relatives have said his mother left the family when he
    was a toddler. He has been in state custody for about two years
    since his father was arrested in Tucker. Gwinnett County Juvenile
    Court Judge Stephen Franzen is charged with determining who should have custody of the child.

    Franzen said Tuesday he will schedule another hearing before
    September 23rd, and that he wants to hear from the boy's father.

    ABSOLUTELY

    He should be reunited in Guatamala with his father. This reminds me a great deal of the American father who is in NJ and his child is in Brazil (the mother passes away)

    The child should be with the father in the father's home country in both instances...

    The boy needs to be sent to Guatemala to live with his father. If he was born to illegal immigrants, he is an illegal alien.
