Governor Ritter was in the news today as a prominent voice questioning the Obama administration’s decision to pursue the lawsuit against SB 1070 in Arizona. Politically this move is not viewed as helpful for Democrats in the 2010 mid-terms.

This was particularly interesting as the commentators; throughout the day, quoted the Denver Post poll that 62% of Latinos in Colorado support Arizona SB 1070.

The lawsuit was characterized as hitting Democrats running for election this year as “toxic.â€

Andy McCarthy, Former Assistant US Attorney said in an interview with Fox News this morning, that Hezbollah is on the Mexican border, using the position for drug smuggling to raise money for their cause. Mr. McCarthy states the group will remain there until triggered by instructions from Iran to become aggressive politically.

Once again Holder shows his stupidity

He cannot sue the state for profiling unless he can prove the state is sponsering or encouraging profiling , Something the law clearly forbids

His only option would be to bring DOJ charges against whatever officer is accused of said profiling.

The sorriest part of this article is that Dems oppose the lawsuit because it's politically dangerous to their re-election, not because it's bad for America.

I continue to be stunned by all this racial division perpetuated by the media. Doesn't anyone get tired of seeing things like "63% of Hispanics this, 79% of Hispanics that...etc, etc, ad nauseum. When we become American citizens we are no longer Hispanic, European, etc. We are Americans! What makes these idiots in the lamestream media think that American citizens of hispanic descent should have concerns so vastly different than any other American? They want the border secured, they want a strong economy and good job market, they want a balanced budget, etc. Come on folks, this BS is getting old!!

We are more divided than ever. I now have a friend of 36 years referring to me as "really white". She's white too. She's thinks Obama is the greatest thing on the planet. We need to stay on point and not get side-tracked by the racism that is being directed at us. Stand by the Constitution. Something this administration doesn't seem to have a clue about.

Most racially divisive administration I've seen in my life time, my question is why would any leader do this, IMO it's about payback, our turn now mentally, how sad what a wasted opportunity in history.
I'm old with many opinions few solutions.
