httOne Reporter's Opinion – The Toppling of the American Culture

It is this reporter's opinion that setting aside the threat of worldwide nuclear chaos, let's take a look at another problem facing us: multiculturalism and non-assimilation.

It's the new epidemic: hordes of Third World peoples sweeping across our borders violating sovereignty, bringing with them their own perverted cultures, economics, language, religion, politics and ethnic rivalries. Whether one resides in London, Baghdad or Washington, D.C., it is ever evident.

The recent London attacks illustrate the arrogance of these people. The Muslims in Britain charge the British with "insensitivity" toward Islam when they dare to label those responsible for the bombings that killed more than fifty men, women and children.

A spokesman for the so-called "moderate faction" launched a tirade the other day. Dr. Mohammed Naseem, chairman of the Central Birmingham Mosque, held a news conference in which he announced his denunciation of the West – of Britain, of the police and of other assorted "infidels" who had dared to libel Islam by suggesting that Muslims were in any way responsible for the bombings. He called Prime Minister Tony Blair a "liar" and the security forces "evil." Shocking as it may seem, the "moderate" doctor said the bombing suspects were merely innocent commuters.

There's a growing consensus that the British have been taken for suckers by the Muslim immigration wave. Is it any wonder that public opinion in Britain appears to be saying "ENOUGH ALREADY!"?

On to Baghdad, where American National Guardsman Allan Wall reports on the dire consequences of multiculturalism. Wall is skeptical concerning any kind of lasting peace in Iraq. He points to the alliances there: family first, then sub-tribe, then tribe, then religious sect – complicated by the international mix of Kurds, Shiites, and Sunnis, each trying to build an Iraqi identity. "Impossible," he says.

"Our military spends so much of its time dealing with tensions among ethnic and religious groups, there is little energy left for military training," Wall says. He suggests that Iraq could fall into a Lebanese-style civil war.

Speaking of multiculturalism, what excuse does the United States have? Traditionally, we've been a country with one principal culture, which dominated society: the culture of the majority of the population. But in recent decades, America's elite have been working to transform us into a multicultural state.

We suffer from mass immigration, linguistic balkanization, non-assimilation of immigrants and other such policies that are radically transforming our nation's social contract and civil values.

Before this transformation is complete, let's step back and ask if it's a good idea, America, and whether the majority of our population needs to take another look at multiculturalism and non-assimilation and its negative effects on our lives.

What is happening here is affecting you, me and all of our fellow Americans. The scourge is now in our own backyard. We've got to wake up before it's too late and there is nothing left for our children and their children.

Since when are we followers? America has always been the leader of nations and has always stood her ground and stayed strong in times of terrible turmoil. There is still time to do something about this growing threat. If it continues the way it's going, America is doomed.
