How not to hire an American

This is a disturbing presentation by an immigration law firm about how to skirt hiring a U.S. worker when going through the Perm process. I thought you would find it useful. It is only about 5 minutes long.

Below is a link to a video edited by the programmers guild. The source is a Pittsburgh-based immigration law firm, Cohen & Grigsby.

    I saw this off Immigrationwatchdog.
A caution, this video will make you incredibly furious.

And if we have this so called worker shortage, then why the high numbers of unemployment?
Just more political rhetoric, it's all about the votes and the money for the ones who have been bought out.

    Sippy:

You are very right. I have members of my family that work in computer related fields. Some of them are absolutely struggling to find work because of "outsourcing" and H1B(?) visas.

When you have people who are willing to work for 1/2 of what an American usually gets for the same job, it does create major problems. The absolute sneaky way to get these people into the country is enough to make you want to scream.

The bloody lawyers don't care about the American way of life - they care only about lining their pockets. These jerks have no moral or social conscience!!!

Can you tell this is a real bugaboo with me? Or am I hiding it well?

CW, I can certainly understand that one, and you are right about the attorneys. They don't care one iota about the principle of law, even though they go under that guise.
I have many friends who started their careers in the IT field, and now, every one of them has been replaced by workers from India.
