And we are going to be in DEEP trouble if he and Michelle take the helm.

And we are going to be in deep trouble if McCain wins.
We ARE in deep trouble NOW. Thats why we have to join forces and vote for an independent. No Republican and no Democrat. Our job is to choose between Baldwin, Barr or Ron Paul. We have no other choice.

As much as I hate to say this.....we would be in much more serious difficulties as a nation, as a people if BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA and his angry, militant wife, Michelle take the helm. The U.S. would never, ever recover from such a disaster. We have to be realistic....the Obama's could do more to damage this nation FOREVER ....they truly don't like the U.S., they want it to become a Socialist nation like France. They would forever change the very fabric of the foundation of this nation's principles. We would be a very weakened state..and it would be hard to recover from that.

Although McCain is absolutely wrong on the issue of amnesty....he doesn't want us to become a Socialist, leftist, nation.

If you want to be realistic, thinking like you do is exactly how we got into this jam. We vote against people, instead of for them.

Obama is a socialist, McCain is a fascist. I refuse to vote for either.

Angela: Don't presume to know how I think nor to lay blame on me for anything in this mess. Really. I didn't say who I would vote for or against. I merely stated my opinion regarding the lesser of two evils between Obama and McCain... although it's wonderful that there are other candidates out there....the reality is that a vote for a third party candidate will hand the election to one of the others. That's the reality of it...whether we like it or not.

I start by asking you to --please not be angry with me--I have read many of your posts. I consider you to be a true American and a true patriot.
Now -you are right - a third party vote will influence the success of one of the other parties--but that is because, for years, everyone has held the same mantra--.

I am definitely looking at a third party candidate. I want an American for Americans as my president. I want someone who supports the Constitution and the rule of law.

This is my 14th presidential election. Too long have I had to settle for the least worst. I cannot do it anymore. In spite of that I do share the fear that Obama may win. If he does, it is possible that the greatest insurrection in American history, short of the revolution that created this republic, will occur.

It is my belief that if everyone who did not like either candidate, voted for a single third party candidate--that candidate would win. We are all jumping for joy over Sarah Palin. A very valid reason to jump, by the way. However, she will have little impact on McCains effort to make this Mexico North. The harm he (or Obama) will do to this country may very well turn out to be irreversible.

I love this country. I served her. I recently went to a ship's reunion. A bunch of old Korean War vets. The patriotism I saw was overpowering. Patriotism is like any powerful substance. Mix it with water or some other neutral substance and its power diminishes until it no longer has any effect. The neutral substance is multiculturism. The people we have elected are betraying us--not all of them--but enough to ruin us. No jobs, increased visas for people who work for less. Communities, now evaluating giving the vote to non-citizens, (Perhaps the worst of all the efforts). Open borders resulting in a lowered wage standard for our citizens. Businessmen whose desire for greater profits exceed any trace of patriotism they may have or any concern for the well being of their fellow Americans.

The only power I have left is to vote for a person I believe to be a supporter of the Constitution, the sovereignty of the USA and its people. I see a couple--they are third party candidates.

Please accept my comments as my own, with no attempt to belittle anyone else on this great site. I will go into the voting booth believing that there are enough Americans, (not Democrats, not Republicans, Not Libertarians, but Americans), who, if they were not afraid that their vote would cause one party or the other of the two major parties, to lose, would cast their vote as their conscience. They would cast it, not to prevent the most harm, but to preserve the most good. They would, then be electing a third party candidate.

Again, I enter this with great respect for the members of this site. It is just one old man's opinion.

May God guide this nation in its path.

Unbelievable! They accept Spanish signs all over the place. But when young eligible voters want to display a sign for "Build the Fence" which is a HUGE MAJOR ISSUE they are told to take it down!

This election isnt for "we the people" anymore. Its all geared to illegal aliens and Hispanics that support amnesty for illegal aliens.

MrBill, I hear you. I've got a LOT of flack from others who will hold thier noses and vote for McCain. I can certainly understand why they are doing it, because the temptation for me to do it is great also. Even tho, I don't agree with what they are doing-I DO respect it and I won't belittle them for it.

What some seem to forget it that we are running a marathon here - not a sprint. It will take years and possibly several election cycles to get this country back to what it was meant to be. Like child abuse - someone in the chain has to break it so it won't continue. This is what those of us voting third party are trying to do. We may not win this time - but we can wake the other two party's up to the fact that 3rd party is a growing "threat".

I am going to make a simple "Build The Fence" bumper sticker that can be placed on cars and, uh, well, McCain campaign posters...
