Legal Help and Charity for Postville Workers

(KAAL) -- Area residents are pitching in to help out those who were displaced by the immigration raid in Postville.

The Minnesota Immigrant Freedom Network is bringing supplies to about 300 people who are living in a Postville church. Some of those people are relatives of those who were arrested during the raid.

The Immigrant Freedom Network stopped by the Queen of Angels Church in Austin to load up a truck filled with supplies.

"What we bring today is hopefully going to help the families in the church to feed the people for about a few days," said Mariano Espinoza, the Executive Director of the MN Immigrant Freedom Network.

According to the network, they’re looking for supplies for mothers and children. They really need things like baby formula and cereal.

No. What they really need is a one-way ticket south for the whole dang family. I will contribute for that, but nothing else!

Please offer the illegal aliens more help. Give them as much as possible and spend as much as possible on them...

Really, the church needs to set up an emergency room, pre and post natal care, day labor centers, ESL classes, daycare, a welfare office, Section 8 housing, WIC... Really, if the church insist on helping then they should do as good of a job as the American Taxpayers have. I mean, that's what they expect right and you wouldn't want to lower the illegal alien's standard of living just because they have claimed sanctuary and have become the responsibility of the church.

I think they should help all the illegal aliens they can. When they run out of money and resources, while the demands keep growing, then they should clearly understand what the American Taxpayers know about the financial burden created and caused by illegal aliens.

Perhaps some of that assistance from the church should come in the form of helping them sell the new vehicles, fully loaded pickups/SUVS, and all of the gold jewelry.

Illegal aliens have no more right ,than anyone else does, to take charity items from those truly in need while they hold on to all of their luxury items.

The Churches out there are nothing more that a political message launching pad, and it is one of the illegals most powerful ally. It scares me!
