    Man charged in rape, kidnapping of child (NC)

    RALEIGH -- A man was arrested Thursday on charges that involve the rape and kidnapping of a juvenile last August.
    Arnoldo Hernandez Santiago, 47, of 1909 Peach Creek Court, was arrested Thursday after being accused of kidnapping and raping a child who is under 13 years old on August 3, 2011, according to an arrest warrant.
    Santiago is also now the subject of a federal immigration detention order issued by the Department of Homeland Security that states he is from Mexico.


    He is being held under a $600,000 bond. He is accused of first degree rape and first degree kidnapping.
