GA-08: GOPer Collins' Ad Sneers In Spanish

We didn't think it was possible to cut an anti-immigrant ad worse than the crotch-grabbing shot released recently by Vernon Robinson. But GOP House candidate Mac Collins has given an awfully good go at it. The ad by Collins -- who's trying to oust Dem Rep. Jim Marshall in a newly redrawn district in Georgia, the one front where Dems are struggling -- warns viewers: "Jim Marshall voted with his liberal leader Nancy Pelosi and voted to waste our tax dollars printing election ballots in Spanish." Then a sneering voice ads in Spanish: "Muchas Gracias, Señor Jim Marshall." Why doesn't Mac Collins want new American citizens to be able to vote? View the ad here.

The ad also said, "Mac will fight to make English our official language, to protect our American values." What moral threat does Collins think hardworking new Americans present to the country?
