    It is quite frustrating that Gov. Janet Napolitano seems unwilling to do anything to discourage illegal immigration. She claims the "anti-immigrant" bills she recently vetoed wouldn't do anything to stop illegal immigration.

    The sad reality is our government bends over backward to make it easy for illegals by providing schooling, medical care, food stamps, translators, etc. The governor apparently considers the burden of requiring Hispanics to obtain valid ID - and occasionally use it - and to learn English to be greater than the tremendous burden this illegal invasion is causing for our state.

    If we stop making it such a breeze for illegal immigrants, they might not be so inclined to continue coming here in such great numbers. - Pete Wacker, Phoenix
