Graham: Immigration would 'destroy ability to do climate change'

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Thursday said the Senate is not ready to tackle immigration reform and that bringing a bill forward would be "CYA politics."

CYA is slang for "cover your a**."

Graham also said moving ahead with immigration would scuttle the Senate’s capacity to deal with climate legislation. “It destroys the ability to do something like energy and climate,â€

At this time of 10% we do not need temporary workers.

I guess I would take the lesser of two evils and hope that Graham's attention on the climate bill distracts him from an immigration bill. Maybe that's why the Chief CO was calling individual Republican senators---trying to twist their arms. Meanwhile, his promise to secure the US border is pretty much a footnote in history. With the virtual fence virtually non-functioning and border security efforts underfunded, they might just as well open up their own charter bus business from Mexico.
